Even in the midst of life’s busyness, the gospels invite us to meet and be nurtured by God’s love. Together, we will ponder stories of women who encountered and shared Jesus Christ by finding life’s “desert” places of quiet refuge. How can we find simple ways to carve out desert moments to truly listen to Jesus in prayer? How can we better hear the voices and needs of those around us while also nurturing our own spiritual self-care?
