is the associate pastor at St. Mel in Woodland Hills. Before becoming a diocesan priest, he discerned a monastic vocation with the Trappists. Though not a monastic in the strict sense, he is still trying to navigate ways in which to live more contemplatively. He enjoys meeting other such “contemplatives-in-the-making,” spending quality time with close friends and family, walking aimlessly in the woods, and reading.
