is the Honorary Professor for the Renewal of Catholic Intellectual Life at Bishop Barron’s Word on Fire Institute. He is also Chair of the Department of Philosophy at Loyola Marymount University and holds a Ph.D. from Notre Dame. He is the author of sixteen books, including most recently, Praying Like Saint Augustine: A Guided Prayer Journal (OSV).
