Fr. Ryan Thornton
received a Ph.D. in Economic Thought from l’École des hautes études en sciences sociales (Paris) and a Licentiate in Systematic Theology from the Pontificia Università Antonianum (Rome). His most recent book is “Franciscan Poverty and Franciscan Economic Thought (1209– 1348)”, published by Brill. Presently, he is Pastor at St. Mark’s University Parish in Isla Vista, and a lecturer at UC Santa Barbara.
