Building a Praying Family for Today’s Church
In the 20th Century, Venerable Rev. Patrick Peyton, C.S.C., made famous the motto “The family that prays together stays together”. Looking at Father Peyton’s life and legacy, we will examine how to build a “praying family” in our homes, parishes and communities. Additionally, we will consider how families, parishes and organizations can best follow Father Peyton’s practice of actively engaging with emerging media to grow in and share our faith. Special attention will be given to families facing caregiving challenges and families with loved ones who are separated from or have never practiced the faith.
